DESCRIPTION:NUMUS Main Series Presents \nSaturday\, March 11\, 2017 @ 8pm | First United Church\n16 William St. W\, Waterloo\n$30 General / $20 Senior & Arts Worker / $10 Student \nHalifax’s Blackwood Duo (Peter-Anthony Togni\, organ and Jeff Reilly\, bass clarinet) joins forces with KW’s Stealth Duo (Kathryn Ladano\, bass clarinet and Richard Burrows\, percussion) to perform new works that fuse composition and improvisation\, including “The Land Sings” by Jana Skarecky\, written specifically for this concert\, and the world premiere of Nick Storring’s “Spurious Correlations” for bass clarinet and percussion. Also featuring the newly formed NUMUS String Orchestra as guests.
